Kite

Kite waste bin awarded with Red Dot Award and German Design Award. A modular recycling bin designed by Annica Doms. Awarded the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award for its innovative form. Designed for modular building in different constellations. Kite fits against a wall or as a free-standing accent in the room.

The many possible combinations challenge the imagination and inspire creativity. Lids in eight different designs with varying hole designs and screen-printed symbols for different types of waste. Kite is available in eleven RAL colours with lids in three standard colours, white, anthracite and olive grey. Kite has a capacity of 70 litres, adapted for 85-125 litre waste bags.

Material

The frame is made of powder-coated steel sheet, made in Sweden and consists of 20 % recycled material. Lid made of vacuum foiled MDF.

Specification

Frame: Powder-coated steel sheet, 70 liters and adapted for waste bags 85–125 liters.

Lid: Vacuum foiled MDF in white, anthracite or olive grey with screen printed symbol in grey. The lids are available in eight variants with a matching hole pattern.

Accessories: The Kite moisture protection base is placed in the bottom of the Kite for easier cleaning. Recommended for wet fractions such as residual waste, compost and PET bottles/cans.

Accessories: Kite lid insert in lacquered MDF prevents bad odor, available in white or anthracite. Fits the lids for plastic, residual waste and compost.
